    Signed "A Harry Moore".

    Moore writes as U.S. Senator to a John T. Kavanagh in Brooklyn, NY, replying to a request for his autograph.

    Arthur Harry Moore
    [1877-1952] was a Democratic politician who was the 39th Governor of New Jersey. He was the longest-serving New Jersey Governor in the twentieth century, being elected to serve three separate nonconsecutive terms [1926-1929, 1932-1935 and 1938-1941]. He represented New Jersey in the United States Senate from January 1935 to January 1938 when he stepped down to begin his third term as Governor.
