    Description

    Typed letter dated 7/23/1973 on "Congress of the United States, House of Representatives" letterhead, signed by Samuel Studdiford Stratton (died 1990), U.S. Congressman from New York (served 1959-1989). Also a 6-1/2" x 8-1/2" photograph autographed and inscribed by him. During WWII he was an intelligence office of MacArthur's staff and was awarded two bronze stars with valor device. Each has a paper clip mark/dent on the upper left.
