    Description

    This is a signed photo of Daniel Kahikina Akaka
    (1924-2018), who served as a United States
    Senator from the state of Hawaii for twenty-three
    years, from 1990 to 2013.
    Previously, Akaka had served seven terms as a
    U.S. Representative of Hawaii, from
    1977 to 1990.
    Akaka served in the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers,
    from 1945 to 1947.
    This is a 8" by 10" b/w photo, signed in black ink.
    PLEASE NOTE
    : the signature in black ink is not
    very visible on the b/w photo. The last image
    shows a close-up of the signature with the
    lighting of the image adjusted, so that you
    can view it more easily.
    The photo is in very good condition.
