This is an envelope bearing the signature of E. Ross Adair.
Edwin Ross Adair (1907-1983) was an attorney from Indiana who
served for twenty years as a member of the United States House of
Representatives. He was also a U.S. ambassador to Ethiopia.
The envelope is postmarked March 28, 1963. The signature is
on the top right corner of the envelope, next to the postmark.
This is an official Congressional envelope (see top left corner).
This envelope is from the collection of the late Roger Harris,
a well-known collector of autographs.
