(1895-1979) He was a politician and lawyer in the state
of West Virginia. He served two separate terms in the
United States Senate. Typed letter signed, June 1, 1970,
regarding the Boy Scouts, plus a second letter, May 3rd,
1971, granting permission to publish the first letter.
